For our elders.

In our Tapestry Collective, we value every thread that weaves into our community's fabric. Among these, the golden threads of our elders hold a special place. Their lifetime of experiences, their wisdom born of lived years, and the richness of their insights form an irreplaceable part of our collective story.

In the Abrahamic faiths, respect for the elderly is a cornerstone. The Bible states, 'Stand up in the presence of the aged, show respect for the elderly and revere your God. I am the Lord.' (Leviticus 19:32). The Quran teaches, 'And lower to them the wing of humility out of mercy and say, 'My Lord, have mercy upon them as they brought me up [when I was] small.' (Quran 17:24). Judaism, too, echoes these sentiments with the Talmud teaching, 'Whoever respects an elderly person is as though he respected the Divine Presence.'

Guided by these teachings, we aim to create a nurturing space for our elders, offering them opportunities to learn, engage, and share their wisdom with others. Our elderly volunteer corps is not just an initiative; it's a testament to their enduring capabilities. By pairing their skills with those in need, we weave a stronger, more compassionate community.

Our Quran classes are open to all, embodying the spirit that learning has no age limit. Whether it's your first introduction to the Quran or a deeper exploration of its content, we welcome you with open arms.

We also invite our elders to our ranch, a serene haven where they can enjoy nature, tend gardens, or relax. Their presence and involvement bring a depth of experience that enriches our collective.

At The Tapestry Collective, we recognize that our elders are not a liability; they are an irreplaceable resource. As we weave our community tapestry, their threads hold us together, grounding us with their wisdom and experience. We are committed to honouring their contribution, celebrating their presence, and creating a vibrant space for their continued growth and engagement.

Make it stand out.

  • Dream it.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
